Education

Jonathan Clemens graduated from Pacific University's School of Physician Assistant Studies in Hillsboro, Oregon in August, 2012 with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. In 2023, he completed a Doctor of Medical Science at A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences with a concentration in clinical leadership. He additionally holds masters degrees in religion from Pepperdine University and Western Seminary.

Certification

Jonathan is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.

Licensing

Jonathan is licensed to practice medicine as a Physician Assistant by the Washington State Department of Health. He maintains concurrent licensure in Alaska (currently inactive), Montana (pending), and Utah.

Teaching

Jonathan teaches EMT initial courses and ongoing proficiency training for Thurston County Medic One.

He periodically trains PA students during clinical rotations and lectures on professonal practice topics.

Volunteering

Jonathan began working as a Firefighter/EMT with South Bay Fire Department in the fall of 2006.  After a leave of absence for PA school, he returned to serve as a volunteer fire officer and chaplain, and has served as the department's Chief EMS Officer since 2018.

He and his family have participated in several short-term medical missions to Guatemala with Health Talents International.

He formerly volunteered with the Thurston County Medical Reserve Corps.
